RAM 2500 Front Suspension

Upgrading the front end

Buying front suspension parts on their own suits a truck that's already lifted or leveled, or a build done in stages. If you're starting from stock and want the full upgrade, a matched kit is usually the simpler route.

Choosing shocks and coilovers

  • Shock size. A larger shock body holds more oil, so it stays consistent for longer on rough roads.
  • Reservoirs and adjusters. Remote reservoir shocks add capacity and cooling, and adjustable shocks let you tune the ride for the street or the trail.
  • Lift height. Coilovers and springs are built for a set ride height. Match it to the rest of your setup.

Before you order

  • Diesel or gas, and the years. Parts can differ by engine and by generation. Both are in the product title.
