Why level a Super Duty
Super Duty trucks leave the factory sitting lower in front than in back, so they can tow and haul without looking nose-high. A leveling kit takes out that rake, gives the truck an even stance, and makes room up front for a larger tire.
Leveling kit or mid travel kit?
A leveling kit is the lower-cost way to get the height. A spacer on the front coil keeps the factory shocks and radius arm angles, so the ride can get firmer. If ride quality matters as much as the stance, a mid travel system replaces all four shocks and corrects the radius arm geometry.
Before you order
- Diesel or gas. The diesel engine puts more weight on the front springs, so parts can differ. The product title says which it fits.
- Plan an alignment. Raising the front changes the alignment, so have it checked after install.
